The rotor (1) has ferrous core (3) and a magnet (4) arranged on a rotor shaft (2) of the rotor in a torque proof manner. The components of the rotor are coated with lacquer coating (5) forming a casing. The lacquer coating is applied on a shell lying radially outwards of the core or on the core enclosing component. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rotor.
