SOLUTION: An X-ray tube (12) comprises an anode (56) including a focal track (63), and a cathode-assembly (60) which is configured to release electron beam (98) toward a focus spot (65) of the focal track (63). The X-ray tube (12) also comprises a control unit (66) which is configured to swing the electron beam (98) in the tangential direction of the focal track (63) between a plurality of focuses (104). The plurality of focuses (104) contain at least one focus (106) that is defined with a pair of border focuses (108 and 110), The control unit (66) is further configured to delay swinging of the electron beam (98), away from at least one focus (106), for predetermined hours.
