The present invention relates to a reverse osmosis membrane or a nanofiltration membrane associated with the field of polymer chemistry and used for industrial water treatment, seawater desalination, and the like. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a reverse osmosis membrane or a nanofiltration membrane which has very excellent pollution characteristics. The purpose of the present invention is solved by the reverse osmosis membrane, the nanofiltration membrane, or both. The reverse osmosis membrane or the nanofiltration membrane includes a carrier layer, at least one porous protective layer on the carrier layer, at least one active separation layer on the porous protective layer, and at least one cover layer placed on the active separation layer. The active separation layer consists of polyamide which is provided with an acid chloride group on a surface of the active separation layer. The cover layer consists of at least one polymer including a functional group. The functional group of the cover layer is subject to chemical reaction-based bonding to the acid chloride group of the polyamide of the active separation layer. In addition, the purpose of the present invention is achieved by a method for immediately providing at least one cover layer on the active separation layer formed of the polyamide. |
