APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF DRIVING ROUTES

Provided is a device for resetting the driving route in advance if driving through the set route on the current road seems unavailable. The device for resetting the driving route includes: a driving road recognition unit which receives driving data from at least one among a camera and a plurality of sensors attached onto a target vehicle and recognizes the currently-driving road of the target vehicle; and a route guiding unit which provides the expected route to the destination of the target vehicle and road data to drive based on the recognized currently-driving road. The route guiding unit monitors the driving state of the target vehicle continuously and if it is determine that driving through the expected route is unavailable re-recognizes the currently-driving road of the target vehicle and searches for a new route.
