<p>A method for packing drum-like reels (2) in box-like packaging (4), in which the reel (2) is rotatably supported in the packaging (4), and a preferably hollow axle (32) is moved into and placed in the central through opening (30) of the reel (2), after which box-like packaging (4) is moved down over the reel (2), a locking flange (42) then being moved in through each of two openings extending through two opposite sides of the box-like packaging (4), said openings being in line with the end openings of the axle (32) at the time of insertion, and further into the end openings of the axle (32), the cylindrical portion (44) of the locking flanges (42) extending into and complementarily matching the end openings of the axle (32), the outward-projecting flange-like portion (48) of the locking flange (42) resting on the external side of the box-like packaging (4).</p> |
