PURPOSE: A safety network system using an information center and a method for the same are provided to prevent an accident by forming a management system using a communication network and an information center. CONSTITUTION: A communication network(100) is connected to plural communication lines in order to perform a data communication process. A plurality of utility demander terminals(200) are used for transmitting state information data to a computer(300) at information center through the communication network and performing a remote control operation according to a control signal of the computer at information center in an emergency state. The computer at information center is used for checking states of utility demander terminals by using the state information data of the utility demander terminals, transmitting the control signal to the utility demander terminals in the emergency state, and converting and processing the state information data according to utility suppliers' requests. A plurality of utility supplier computers(400) are used for performing a monitoring process, a meter reading process, an alarming process, and a control process by using the state information data of the computer at information center.
