PURPOSE: A method for changing a voice call receiving mode of a cellular phone is provided to add a receiving mode changing code to a transmitted telephone number, and to change a receiving mode of a receiving terminal by using the code. CONSTITUTION: A base station(2) parses a newly defined telephone number code(1,2). The base station(2) transmits an authentication code and a receiving mode changing code to a receiving mobile station(1R)(3). The receiving mobile station(1R) changes a receiving mode if the received authentication code is decided as being correct(4). The receiving mobile station(IR) transmits a response message to the base station(2), and the base station(2) processes a general voice call(5-7). The receiving mobile station(1R) outputs a bell sound, and converts the receiving mode into an original mode(8). A receiving user recognizes that the voice call is received from other party, and makes the voice call(9).
