PURPOSE: A device for ascertaining lighting of lamps in a vehicle is provided to let a driver easily know the lighting state of the lamps when a starting key is turned off while the lamps are turned on. CONSTITUTION: A device for ascertaining lighting of lamps(150,200) in a vehicle comprises a battery(100); the lamps mounted to the vehicle; a lamp lighting switch part(300) electrically connected between the battery and the lamps; a starting key(350) electrically connected between the battery and the lamp lighting switch part; a current-sensing part(400) electrically connected between the lamp lighting switch part and the starting key; a solenoid part(450) having a driving shaft moving up and down; an ascertainment display member fixed to the driving shaft; a solenoid drive part(550) driving the solenoid part; and a control part(600) receiving a current-sensing signal from the current-sensing part and controlling the working of the solenoid drive part. The lamp lighting switch part turns on/off each lamp. The starting key switches on/off the power supply to the lamp lighting switch part, an igniting and starting circuit(355). The current-sensing part senses a current flowing in a branch when the starting key is turned off.
