PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely attach liquid crystal display panels of different specifications by using a common mounting cover without spoiling the merits of outer size reduction. SOLUTION: The mounting cover 4 has 1st and 2nd through holes 18, 19 fitting 1st and 2nd threaded holes 10, 12 formed on 1st and 2nd LCDs 2, 3, and the 1st and 2nd LCDs 2, 3 of different specifications can be attached by using the common mounting covers 4. The thin 1st LCD 2 forms a bent plate 11 having the 1st threaded holes 10 with an enough space in between at both sides attached with the speakers 9. The 2nd LCD 3 directly formes the second threaded holes 10 in the length direction without leaving a wasteful space on and under the LCD 3. Thus the 1st and 2nd LCDs 2, 3 can be attached without spoiling the merits of outer size reduction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
