摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wall thickness measuring instrument capable of preventing a temperature of an ultrasonic probe from becoming high even when a measuring object is brought into a high temperature, and capable of enhancing heat resistance by holding a bonded condition between an adaptor and the measuring object. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic wall thickness measuring instrument 10 is provided with the ultrasonic probe 1 for oscillating an ultrasonic wave, the hollow cylinder type adaptor 11 with one end fixed onto the measuring object 5, and with the other end for attaching the ultrasonic probe 1 to be opposed with a prescribed space to the measured object 5, a coolant supply device 15 for supplying a coolant 7 for cooling the ultrasonic probe 1 into the adaptor 11, and a wall thickness measuring instrument 20 for measuring a wall thickness of the measuring object 5, based on a signal from the ultrasonic probe 1. The coolant 7 is a fluid having an ultrasonic propagation property, and the coolant supply device 15 supplies the coolant to fill fully an inside of the adaptor with the coolant 7.
