PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion rate sensor usable even on an indoor place causing no dew condensation, and measuring the corrosion rate regardless of a using environment efficiently in a short period. SOLUTION: This sensor for measuring the corrosion rate in the atmospheric environment has an insulator 4 comprising an epoxy resin, a conductor 2 arranged on the insulator 4 and comprising phosphor bronze, a nickel-plated coating for controlling diffusion of copper in the phosphor bronze by coating the conductor 2 surface, and a solder-plated coating for coating the surface of the nickel-plated coating and working as a diffused coating of the copper in the phosphor bronze. The corrosion rate in the atmospheric environment is measured based on the relation wherein an electric resistance value of the conductor 2 is changed corresponding to the diffusion rate of copper when the diffusion of the copper in the phosphor bronze progresses to the solder-plated coating through the nickel-plated coating corresponding to at least the concentration of a corrosion factor material in the atmospheric environment.
