PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame holder capable of minimizing the supply of combustion air and being used in a nozzle assembly capable of thinning and shortening flames. SOLUTION: This flame holder 18 used in the nozzle assembly 10 is located at a position slightly separated from a tip of a nozzle 12, and has an opening part 18a at its center, and an air flow convergence unit 20 for guiding the combustion air to the flame holder, at a combustion air flow-in side.
