PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost positive displacement fluid machine excellent in reliability and assembling property by enabling flow-in timing control of a working fluid with a simple communication structure without attaching new part. SOLUTION: The positive displacement fluid machine is provided with a cylinder 8 provided with a cylindrical inner circumference surface 8a and an cylinder hole part 8b, a rocking piston 10 provided with roller part 10a and a vane part 10c constructed as one unit with the roller part 10a, a shoe 11 gripping the vane part 10c from both side surfaces in the cylinder hole part 8b and rockably fitting the same, and a crank shaft 4. Flow-in passages 8d, 8e of working fluid opening to the cylinder hole part 8b is formed on the cylinder 8. Communication passages 11a, 11b having one sides communicated to and shutting off from the flow-in passage 8e at predetermined rotation angle of the crank shaft 4 and having another sides communicated to a cylindrical inner circumference are formed on the shoe 11.
