PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive earth pressure throughout reconstruction process of an underground structure without carrying out a large scale earth-retaining reinforcing work and enable building reconstruction in a stable earth pressure supporting state. SOLUTION: An old building 1 having an underground story is disassembled and a new building 2 is formed within the range in a building reconstruction method. A new building 2 is formed on a new underground structure 2A after the new underground structure 2A provided integrally with a wall protection part 7 freely repeatedly receiving a lateral earth pressure and a floor slab part 8 is formed in an existing underground structure 1A in a state of receiving the lateral earth pressure by the existing underground structure 1A of the old building 1.
