A method for arranging channel information is provided to make it possible to arrange channel information items in an order of an audience rating based on audience rating information included in EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information extracted from a broadcasting signal. EPG information is extracted from a received broadcasting stream(S320). Audience rating information for each channel is extracted from the EPG information(S330). Channel information items for respective channels are arranged in an order of an audience rating, and then displayed on a screen(S340). The channel information is outputted through a pop-up window of an OSD(On Screen Display).
