PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods of treating fatty liver disease such as non-alcoholic fatty acid liver disease (NAFLD), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), fatty liver disease resulting from hepatitis, fatty liver disease resulting from obesity, fatty liver disease resulting from diabetes, and fatty liver disease resulting from insulin resistance.SOLUTION: A composition containing cysteamine or cystamine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient is administered as a delayed-release formulation such as an enteric-coated tablet. |
