A dust collecting apparatus for train is provided to improve dust collecting effect by removing foreign materials with inertia and inhaling or discharging dust regardless of the travel direction of the train. A dust collecting apparatus for train comprises a dust collector which is formed on the lower side of a train body, including a hood whose inlet(3) and outlet(2) are formed adjacent to the wheel, a circular wire basket(9) formed with open bottom in a dust collection part(4), and a vertical baffle plate(5) installed on the inside ceiling of the dust collection part. The apparatus inhales the air the dust collectors using the high-speed wind bumping against the train body, filters dust by taking advantage of inertia, and then discharges clean air.
