The invention relates to an awning arm supporting device comprising a base body (2) bearing a supporting element (3) for an awning arm and defining a fork having first and second fork arms (4a, 4b) configured to clamp a portion of a supporting bar which has a square cross-section and is secured to a structure. The first fork arm (4a) defines a surface with which a first side of the supporting bar comes into contact and the second fork arm (4b) defines at least one inclined surface (7) facing the first fork arm (4a). The second fork arm (4b) is provided with a pressure member (5) which can be moved, under the action of a mechanism, along the inclined surface (7) in order to press against a second side of the supporting bar, opposite the above-mentioned first side, and, consequently, secure the fork to the supporting bar. |
