A capsule endoscope is disclosed. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided is a piezoelectric actuator which comprises: an annular piezoelectric element in which vibration of contracting and expanding is generated by power repeatedly applied thereto; an inner electrode formed on the inner circumference surface of the piezoelectric element; and an outer electrode formed to be divided into multiple external electrodes on the outer circumference surface of the piezoelectric element. According to an embodiment of the present invention, by using the piezoelectric actuator as a driving source of the capsule endoscope, a small level of driving force can be provided, and power consumption is reduced since the piezoelectric actuator has lower power consumption. |
