The present invention relates to a composition for detecting chilli anthracnose and a method for detecting chilli anthracnose using the same. According to the present invention, the composition for detecting chilli anthracnose enables objective numeralization of the progress of chilli anthracnose, by specifically detecting autophagy gene (CaATG8) existing in a genome of chilli anthracnose. Thus, the composition can be useful as a molecular biological diagnosis method for chilli anthracnose. To this end, the composition includes: a primer set comprising a base sequence represented by sequence number 1 and sequence number 2; and a probe comprising a base sequence represented by sequence number 3.
