The present invention relates to a variable capacity swash plate type compressor. The variable capacity swash plate type compressor includes: a cylinder block; a driving shaft installed on the cylinder block to rotate and having a first refrigerant flow path formed on a center shaft and a second refrigerant flow path passing through the center shaft by being connected to one end of the first refrigerant flow path; a swash plate installed on the circumference of the driving shaft and connected to the piston; a housing having a suction chamber, a discharge chamber, and a crank chamber; a capacity control valve controlling a discharge capacity by adjusting an inclination angle of the swash plate; a flow path connecting the suction chamber and the crank chamber; a supply control valve controlling refrigerant supply through the flow path by corresponding to a pressure of the crank chamber; and a valve path in which the supply control valve is arranged, wherein one end is connected to one end of the flow path by crossing the one end of the flow path and the other end receives the pressure of the suction chamber through a pressure receiving path connected to the suction chamber. According to the present invention, a valve opening and closing the flow path in response to the inclination angle variation on the swash plate is arranged in the flow path connecting the suction chamber and the crank chamber of the swash type compressor. The opening and closing of the valve are controlled in response to a case in which the inclination angle of the swash plate is changed from a maximum angle to a smaller angle and a case in which the inclination angle of the swash plate is maximum so that the pressure in the crank chamber can be supplied. Therefore, the inclination angle of the swash plate of the compressor is easily changed.
