METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING CONTENTS

Disclosed is a method of providing content by a device. The method includes: acquiring biometric information of a user using content running in the device and context information indicating the user′s situation at a time when the biometric information of the user is acquired; determining emotion of the user using the content on the basis of the acquired biometric information of the user and the acquired context information; and extracting at least one part of the content corresponding to the user′s emotion satisfying a predetermined condition to generate content summary information containing the extracted at least one extracted part of the content and emotion information corresponding to the at least one extracted part of the content. An embodiment of the present invention can provide a method and device which provide content on the basis of the user′s biometric information and situation.
