The laminate for a light emitting device further includes a network inducing the scattering of light for efficiently extracting outward a loss of light at an interface between a glass substrate and an internal light extraction layer. The laminate is suitable for the industrial field of optical devices, such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), backlights, lighting, and the like.

A laminate for a light emitting device, comprising: a glass substrate having a refractive index n1 from 1.45 to 1.65; a random network of reliefs made of enamel, formed on the glass substrate, said network having a refractive index n2 ranging from 1.45 to 1.65; and a flattening layer made of enamel, formed on said network and said glass substrate, said flattening layer having a refractive index n3 ranging from 1.8 to 2.1; wherein at least 50%, preferably at least 75% and more preferably at least 85%, of said reliefs show a cross section having: a height (b) ranging from 1 to 10 μm, preferably the maximum height of said reliefs being lower than 15 μm, and a width ranging from 2 to 40 μm, preferably at most 10 μm; and wherein at least 50%, preferably at least 75%, and more preferably at least 85%, of pitches (c) of said network are in the range from 2 μm to 15 μm.
