A method for extracting hydrocarbons from soil containing same involves: mixing soil with a liquid hydrocarbon extractant, forming a suspension which contains the extractant, hydrocarbons extracted from the soil, and soil particles; separating the suspension into an organic phase containing the hydrocarbons, a liquid phase containing the extractant, and a solid phase containing the soil particles, by means of gravitational sedimentation, and taking the organic phase as the target product. According to the invention, the liquid extractant is an aqueous sodium sulfate solution with a concentration of between 0.5% and 20.0% by mass, used in a quantity of at least 1m3 per 1m3 of soil. |
