The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for producing a photo album by using a mobile phone, which make one file by adding a voice to a photo captured when the photo album is produced by using the mobile phone. According to the present invention, the method for producing a photo album by using a mobile phone comprises the steps of; determining whether the photo album is to be produced; determining whether capturing is to be performed or a photo is to be selected from a storage unit when it is determined that the photo album is to be produced; performing the capturing when it is determined that the capturing is to be performed; determining whether editing is to be performed on a captured photo; performing the editing on a corresponding photo and storing the edited photo in the storage unit when it is determined that the editing is to be performed, and storing the captured photo in the storage unit when it is determined that the editing is not to be performed; determining whether a voice is to be recorded in the captured photo; recording the voice when it is determined that the voice is to be recorded in the captured photo; selecting one voice of voices stored in a memory and changing the one voice and a selected photo into one file when it is determined that the voice is not to be recorded in the captured photo; and determining whether the file is to be transmitted, storing the file by determining whether the file is to be stored in the storage unit after the file is transmitted when it is determined that the file is to be transmitted, and storing the file in the storage unit when it is determined that the file is not to be transmitted. |
