Disclosed is a fingerprint recognition method, comprising: receiving a touch operation inputted by a user on a touch screen, and performing recognition to obtain fingerprint authentication information corresponding to the touch operation; determining whether the fingerprint authentication information matches fingerprint template information in a preset fingerprint database; and if the fingerprint authentication information matches the fingerprint template information, processing a display content on the touch screen according to the touch operation.
