The present invention specifically relates to a method for producing xylitol by pre-extracting hydrolysate from eucalyptus dissolving pump chips, and further relates to a hydrolysis tower used in the hydrolyzation process. Disclosed is a xylitol producing method. The method for producing xylitol by pre-extracting hydrolysate from eucalyptus dissolving pump chips comprises the following steps: pre-hydrolyzing eucalyptus chips; performing acid-hydrolysis on the pre-hydrolized hydrolysate, and performing decoloration, ion-exchange purification, concentration and crystallization processing on the hydrolysate to obtain xylose; and performing dissolution, hydrogenation, decoloration and purification and crystallization processing on the xylose to obtain the xylitol. Pre-hydrolyzation of the eucalyptus chips is performed in the hydrolysis tower. After the pre-hydrolyzation, the hydrolysate is extracted from the hydrolysis tower and acid-hydrolysis is performed on the hydrolysate. Continuous feed-in and continuous hydrolyzation solves the problem of low efficiency due to complex processes, such as putting materials in a pot, adding acid liquid, hydrolyzation, extraction and discharging, required by an intermittent hydrolyzation process in the prior art. |
