PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject preparation useful in e.g. treating hypercalcemia or the like by filling a syringe with a calcitonin injection of reduced adsorptivity onto the wall surface so as to prevent the calcitonin from adsorption onto the syringe and be administrable to humans without impairing its concentration when filled. SOLUTION: This preparation is obtained by filling a syringe of glass or the like having a volume of pref. 1-5 mL or so with a calcitonin injection reduced in adsorptivity onto the wall surface pref. through including a calcitonin and an adsorption-proofing ingredient; wherein the above calcitonin is pref. elcatonin or salmon-derived calcitonin, its content being pref. 5-80 units in the injection, and the above adsorption-proofing ingredient is pref. an anionically charged protein or the like such as albumin; in the case of albumin, its concentration is pref. 0.1-2.0 w/v% or so in the injection.
