<p>An electromagnetic lock includes an electromagnet 5 having one or more stops 51 slightly extended downward, an armature plate 6 slidably received in a housing 8 and having one or more openings 61 and ramps 63 to guide the stops to engage into the openings of the armature plate. One or more casings 70 are secured to the armature plate 6, one or more guides are extended through the casings, and each has one end disposed between the casings and the armature plate, and the other end threaded with the housing. One or more springs 74 may be biased between the armature plate and the housing, for biasing armature plate away from the housing and toward the electromagnet. The stops 51 are biassed by springs 52 and pusher elements 63 are provided to exert a separating force between the armature and the electromagnet.</p> |
