PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flip-up crossing gate which is small when it assumes a gate-opening position, and simple in structure. SOLUTION: The flip-up crossing gate 13 constitutes a four-bar linkage 14 which is formed of a post 20 erected on a side portion of an opening, upper and lower links 30, 40 vertically swingingly pivoted on the post 20 at upper and lower locations thereof, and a connection link 50 pivoted on distal ends of the upper and lower links 30, 40 so as to extend across a gap between the links. Herein the upper and lower links 30, 40 are offset from the connection link 50 in a swing shaft direction, and therefore when the crossing gate assumes the gate-opening position for opening the gate, the four-bar linkage 14 is linearly folded along the support 20. Further to prevent the upper and lower links 30, 40 from being parallel with each other, lengths R30, R40 of the respective links are made different from each other, so that the four-bar linkage 14 is locked in the gate-opening position.
