<p>The rotary steel holding shaft (1), with an exchangeable turnover cutting plate (2) at its leading end, has butting surfaces (15,26) and at least one countersunk (31) screw (30) to hold them together in a force and positive fit. The height of the cutting plate matches the height of the side surface parallel to the plate. The holding shaft is milled flat on each side, to the plate thickness, with a recess (15) in the flat surface to accommodate a projection (26) at the plate with corresponding edges at an acute angle. When assembled together, the outer longitudinal surface of the cutting plate away from the surface with the projection is flush with the outer surface of the shaft. The turnover cutting plate is a sintered component, with chip guides.</p> |
