PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type electric earth auger capable of laterally freely switching the rotational direction of excavation, and also freely carriable by weight reduction.SOLUTION: The present invention provides the portable type electric earth auger having a portable type power source, a motor driven by the portable type power source, a main shaft rotating by the motor, a screw blade provided on the outer periphery of the main shaft and an excavation blade provided on the tip of the main shaft, that is, the portable type electric earth auger having rotational direction switching means capable of laterally freely switching the rotational direction of the main shaft, desirably, the portable type electric earth auger having a case for covering a part or the whole of the main shaft and the screw blade. |
