PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument yielding pastel-colored writing marks of attractive hues without entailing inconveniences tending to occur on occasions for constituting pastel-colored inks such as the flocculation/precipitation of a coloring agent, color separations of titanium oxide and colored pigments, and writing defects due to congestion at pen tips occurring when applied to writing instruments having narrow ink discharge routes such as ball-point pens, etc; and a writing instrument internalizing the same.SOLUTION: The provided aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument consists of: colored particles obtained by coating the particle surface of a white inorganic particle powder with a sizing agent and by adhering an organic pigment to the coated portion; a dispersion stabilizer; and water. A writing instrument internalizing the aqueous ink composition for a writing instrument is also provided. |
