A genuine article identification system and a method of a product using a mobile communication terminal are provided to confirm whether a product is a genuine article or a false article more quickly and exactly, thereby more easily distinguishing similar and false products. A product code input part inputs a product code endowed to a product. A controller recognizes the product code based on a product code for verifying genuine articles, and decides whether the product is genuine or false according to the results showing whether the product code is authentic. A memory(18) stores product code data for verifying genuine articles based on the results showing whether the product code is authentic. A display unit(24) displays the decided results of the product on a screen. |
