PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pressing member from coming inside a staple, and also surely press the staple. SOLUTION: A pusher 10B for pressing the staple 50 includes a left plate 64b and a right plate 640a approximately vertically extending from both sides of an upper plate 640c. The upper plate 640c has a contact 640f coming into contact with at least a part of a crown 50a of the staple 50. In this embodiment, a position where the contact 640f is in contact with the crown 50a is arranged to be the approximately the same position as a position where contacts 670a and 67b come into contact with each of legs 50b of the staple 50 (on the same plane or slightly dented from the same plane).
