<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate acceleration from vehicle speed information that expresses the relation between vehicle speed and the running distance detected in accompanying the running of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration information formation apparatus includes converting the vehicle speed information, expressing the relation between the vehicle speed and the running distance detected, accompanying running of the vehicle into vehicle speed information expressing relation of the vehicle speed and a running time(210); calculating the acceleration information expressing acceleration during each time interval predetermined from the vehicle speed information, expressing the relation between the vehicle speed and the running time (240); and furthermore, converting the acceleration information expressing the acceleration in each predetermined time interval into acceleration information that expresses the relation between the acceleration and the running distance (260). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
