<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member supporting method for carrying the works with sufficient accuracy without depending on the form of irregularity of the surface by which a member is supported, when performing the works for mounting components to the member such as a board. <P>SOLUTION: The member supporting method for supporting a member by a plurality of support bodies comprises a holding step (S1) for making a holder hold the plurality of support bodies with magnetic force of a magnet slidably in both directions parallel to a supporting direction; a contact step (S2) for bringing respective ends of the plurality of support bodies that the holder holds into contact with the member, by making the holder move in the support direction; and a fixing step (S3) for restricting the movement to both the directions parallel to the plurality of support bodies, by fixing the positions of the plurality of support bodies in the state where the ends of the plurality of support bodies come into contact with the member to be at positions along unevenness of a supported surface of the member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
