<p>A grave marker formed from a single sheet of a thermoformed synthetic material, such as an acrylic composite. This grave marker will often have a raised headstone and raised footstone portion, often connected on the single sheet of a thermoformed synthetic material by an intermediate section. This in turn may be further configured as a raised dais atop a larger raised base portion. The raised base portion will additionally comprise a lower flange configured to anchor the grave marker in the ground. The interior of the grave marker may have a support material to give additional strength and rigidity to the unit. The grave marker may be further equipped with electronics to provide illumination at night, and/or convey various images, video, or audio messages.</p> |
