The present invention relates to a wired/wireless web based chatting system and a method thereof capable of providing a chatting service on wired/wireless web without installing a separate application program on a chatting terminal for internet chatting. The wired/wireless web based chatting system according to the present invention comprises: two or more chatting terminals for executing web based chatting service by accessing the wired/wireless internet via a web browser; and a chatting server for providing the web based chatting service to the chatting terminals which are in access to the internet. The chatting terminal checks if a server push message set on each chatting terminal executing web based chatting on the chatting server is online or not. |
