PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more effective use of an usable grinding area of a grinding tool.SOLUTION: A workpiece is subjected to machining by rolling off a tool. During the machining, axial delivery of the tool is performed by the diagonal ratio expressed by the ratio between the axial delivery amount of the tool and the axial delivery amount of the workpiece.
