PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving search experiences for Internet users.SOLUTION: A method includes steps of: compiling a set of search results 242A, 242B, 242C, 242D, 242E based on information known about a user stored by the social-networking system; and sending the set of search results with call-to-action elements 244A, 244D, 244E to a client device of the user for presentation to the user. The search results are compiled before the user inputs any search query or portion thereof. Each search result is associated with one or more call-to-action elements applicable to the search result, where each call-to-action element prompts an action related to the search result from the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A |
