PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing a silver nanowire with high aspect ratio.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a silver nanowire with high aspect ratio includes: preparing a container, water, a reduced saccharide, a reducing agent, a first part and a second part of polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), a copper (II) ion source, a halide ion source and a first part and a second part of silver ion source; adding water, the reduced saccharide, the copper (II) ion source and the halide ion source to the container; forming a combination article and heating it to a temperature of 110 to 160°C; adding the first part of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and the first part of the silver ion source to the combination article in the container to form a mixture; adding the second part of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) and the second part of the silver ion source to the container to form a grown mixture; holding the grown mixture at a temperature of 110 to 160°C for 2 to 30 hours; and recovering a silver nanowire with high aspect ratio. In the method, the total glycol concentration in the container is always less than 0.001 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
