Provided is a more highly functional catheter. An electrode catheter 1 is provided with an operating part, a shaft 2, and operating wires PW1, PW2. The shaft 2 extends including, in order from the operating part side, a proximal-end region A1, an intermediate region Am, and a distal-end region A2, the a first passage and a second passage are provided which run through the regions. The operating wires PW1, PW2 are inserted in the first passage or the second passage. The distance between a lumen 4H1 and a center axis CL is less than the distance between a lumen 5H1 and the center axis CL, and the distance between a lumen 4H2 and the center axis CL is less than the distance between a lumen 5H2 and the center axis CL. Lumens 6H1, 6H2 are inclined relative to the center axis CL so as to become more distant from each other progressively from the proximal-end region A1 toward the distal-end region A2. The shaft 2 has a multi-lumen tube 40 in which the lumens 4H1, 4H2 are formed in the proximal-end region A1. |
