The present invention relates to a female connector which directly and visually confirms a terminal insertion state and a core wire pressing state from a connector assembly process to enhance reliability of a connector structure and to improve work efficiency. The female connector of the present invention comprises: a mounting unit; a main body including an opening unit formed to communicate with the inside of the mounting unit; a terminal inserted in the mounting unit, fixing and pressing a core unit of an electric wire and a terminal pin of a male connector to electronically connect the electric wire with the terminal pin; and a retainer inserted into the opening unit to fix the terminal on the mounting unit by touching and pressing the terminal in a state where the terminal is inserted into the mounting unit wherein the opening unit is formed on at least either an upper side of the main body or a lower side of the main body to visually confirm and inspect a terminal insertion into the mounting unit and a core wire pressing state which presses and fixes the core unit of the electric wire. |
