The present invention relates to a filtration apparatus using diatomaceous earth, which receives a purified liquid including diatomaceous earth from a filtration chamber, restores the purified liquid and, simultaneously, molds a diatomaceous earth cake in a dry state while compressing the purified liquid including the diatomaceous earth, and automatically carries the molded diatomaceous earth cake out of the filtration apparatus. The filtration apparatus using diatomaceous earth comprises: a hopper via which diatomaceous earth is introduced in a stored state; a mixing tank which is located below the hopper, and mixes the introduced diatomaceous earth and a purified liquid, i.e., a purification target; a filtration chamber in which a plurality of filters are installed such that the filtration chamber can receive the mixed purified liquid from the mixing tank and can filter the mixed purified liquid; a clean tank which receives the filtered purified liquid from the filtration chamber and stores the filtered purified liquid; and a diatomaceous earth molding means which is disposed below the filtration chamber, receives the purified liquid including the diatomaceous earth from the filtration chamber, molds a dried diatomaceous earth cake while filtering the purified liquid by using air pressure, and automatically carries the molded diatomaceous earth cake out of the filtration apparatus. |
