The present invention relates to a roller for coating an electrode to coat an active substance to an electrode for a battery in a fixed shape. The roller which coats slurry to a current collector for a battery comprises: a storage unit equipped with a storage space arranged inside to store the slurry, and having outlet holes formed around the circumference to discharge the slurry to the outside; and a roller body which receives the storage unit, and has coating holes formed on an outer circumferential surface to discharge the slurry received from the outlet holes onto the current collector. The roller can coat active substance slurry having various patterns to a current collector.
