The present invention relates to a capsule seed. According to the present invention, a seed, a fertilizer, and the like are inserted into a capsule and the seed grows by using a nutrient in the capsule, and thus crop growth can be ensured even in a barren soil environment suppressing crop growth. The present invention includes: a crop seed (10) placed inside; and a case (110) containing a fertilizer facilitating germination of the seed (10). According to the present invention, the crop can be sown with ease at a desired position. When the capsule seed according to the present invention is provided for people in a region stricken by food shortage and the like due to a barren soil environment suppressing crop growth, the people can cultivate the crop themselves and self-reliance can be promoted.
