The present invention relates to a system for checking a location of a bus in real time, which can improve convenience of a passenger using a bus. The system for checking a location of a bus in real time comprises: a location information acquisition unit which acquires location information of a user terminal; an operation control unit which is connected to the location information acquisition unit, transmits a request for checking of a location of a designated bus and the location information of the user terminal to a management server, receives map data and bus location information of the designated bus from the management server, and outputs the map data and the bus location information; and an output unit which is connected to the operation control unit, receives the map data and the bus location information of the designated bus from the operation control unit, and displays an object indicative of the designated bus on a map corresponding to the map data by using the bus location information of the designated bus.
