The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for evaluating outlier of history data. The apparatus for evaluating outlier of history data input to database in which history data sets according to one embodiment of the present invention are stored by a table unit comprises: a checking module for checking types of properties of input data by using a predetermined data profile if there is the input data, which is new history data input to the database; and an evaluation module for evaluating the degree of outlier of the input data in different ways, depending on cases when the type of properties of the input data is numerical or categorical. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and method for evaluating outlier of history data, which are capable of evaluating whether the input history data is abnormal. |
