The present invention relates to a cloud system-based wall-embedded lighting switch supporting the IEEE 802.3af standard (PoE), and more specifically to a lighting switch device and a control method capable of remotely controlling a lighting system by accessing a web-based application using a smart phone and a personal computer (PC). The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: accessing a cloud server by approved users; integrating and remotely controlling a plurality of lighting switches in accordance with scheduling or information on external conditions; storing the external conditions measured by illumination, temperature and humidity sensors in the cloud server; and simultaneously performing communication and power supply using the IEEE 802.3af standard (PoE) technique. Also, the installation of the lighting switch according to an embodiment of the present invention can replace a buried-type tumbler switch typically used for blinking of the lighting system at home, offices, factories, etc. |
